Enrollment at Norfolk Karate Academy is simple and consists of monthly
tuition and an enrollment package to help new students immediately start
their training.
Tuition = $150 (standard rate) or $135 for students on autopay (10% discount), per month for one person
The monthly rate is $150 for students, however, we offer a
discounted rate of $135 for students who choose to use our automatic
payment service. NKA does not require a long-term contractual agreement, and
the automatic payment can be stopped at any time. Your tuition,
regardless of whether you pay $135 or $150 per month, allows you to
attend one or all of our programs (PeeWee Karate, Junior Program (Karate
and Bullyproof), Adult Program (Karate, and our Gracie Jiu-Jitsu
programs -- Gracie CombativesTM, The Master Cycle, and Women Empowered.
Enrollment Package = $50 ($85 if you buy a jiu-jitsu uniform instead of karate uniform) We have put together a package of essential training equipment for new students at NKA. This enrollment package is modestly priced at $50 and you receive: 1) One student karate uniform (add $35 to substitute a student jiu-jitsu uniform). 2) One official NKA T-Shirt. 3) One NKA patch. Karate Uniform= $35; Jiu Jitsu Uniform=$70; NKA T-Shirt=$15; NKA Patch= FREE
Stand Alone Programs:
Women Empowered: $60/month
PeeWee Karate: $105/month Your tuition also includes unlimited access to Gracie University online instruction --
a savings of about 80% on the cost of lessons if you were to purchase
them individually through the website (it's an amazing deal offered by
the Gracie Academy exclusively for Certified Training Centers). For more

Tuition is due on the first of the month. Norfolk Karate Academy
accepts tuition payments in cash, check, credit card (Visa or
Mastercard), or through electronic funds transfer from a bank or credit
card account. Please inform a staff member if you anticipate a leave of
absence from training at NKA so we can adjust your monthly billing
accordingly. If you must suspend your training at the school, we encourage you to sustain your access to Gracie University for $20 per month.
That's it...there are no hidden costs nor testing fees for examinations.
The only other costs you will incur are those associated with purchases
of sparring gear, additional uniforms, or attendance at seminars and
competitions. Special Rates:
Family Discount: Training in martial arts is the perfect
activity for all family members. To encourage family participation, we
give discounts to additional family members who also enroll.
-Second family member: $100/month
-Third family member: $75/month
-Fourth family member and beyond: FREE!
*If
you choose not to use autopay, then the rate for the second family
member is $115 and $95 for the third family member.
Military Discount: $130/month (15% discount)
Law Enforcement Officer Discount: $85/month College Discount: $85/month; available to individuals enrolled as full-time college students.
Norfolk Karate Academy has brought together a community of martial arts practitioners from all walks of life who share a passion for learning.
